Oh my time flies doesn't it - last updated Feb 2010 - that's a smack in the eye for professionalism and good blog conduct right there.

but then this blog was only ever going to be a stream of consciousness coupled with the odd spot of unconsciousness and maybe some element of social commentary.

But actually i think i might tell you something or other this time - mainly my love for Gram Parsons and country rock in general.

ok a snippet - when Johnny Cash plays Folsom theres a shot of the audience that focuses on Merle Haggard and you can see him thinking, literally see the cogs moving thinking why the fuck am i here and he's there.....and Cash fucking deserves it - you don't need me to tell you that ....but i love that shot.

Christ it may not even be Merle Haggard - but it looks like him.

i guess I'm saying give country a chance - give Gram a chance cos he's special to me.
